About Yoshi and Stacey

Yoshi was there when Stacey started her career as a film costumer. Yoshi was there when Stacey was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 at the age of 35. Yoshi was there when Stacey was healing and unable to go back to her career. So Stacey put a costume on Yoshi and the rest is history.

Stacey explains, ”The obvious question is, ‘How the heck does Yoshi let you do this to her?’ And the only thing I can tell you is that she likes it. We all know that we can’t make a cat do anything it doesn’t want to do. Yoshi loves being the centre of attention and when she dresses up she is a star. There is no drugging involved; just a lot of praise and treats.”

Born on March 24, 1998 Yoshi came into Stacey’s life as a wee kitten. A strong bond was formed catapulting Stacey prematurely into a confirmed Cat Lady and Yoshi into a One Human Cat Eschewing All Others. Their eerily close relationship continues and their days are spent spooning on the couch and eating too many houseplants.

Ok, maybe only Yoshi has the houseplant problem.
